Title: Monthly Recruitment Contest

Serving the region may be its own reward, but as an additional enticement The Keepers of the Call runs a monthly contest to reward the most active, most effective caller. The contest runs throughout each month, and at the end of the month the one with the most points may choose a game from The Monarch's Game Bag (http://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=2916.0) as their reward. The point system is described below:

Recruiting a nation through our recruiter page - 1 point
If that nation moves into the region - 10 points (another 10 if it's still there at the end of the month)
If that nation applies for Citizenship - 50 points
If that nation makes 20+ posts - 80 points
If that nation makes 50+ posts - 150 points

This topic is to hold a place for the points system and list of winners, as well as for any conversations about the contest itself. If you choose to take part in the contest, best of luck to you. It can get very competitive. :)

The first part of January has been quiet, but I hope more people will join and make the contest competitive as the month goes on. Remember that in order to win a prize you must both have the most points (besides me) and have more than 1500 points!

It turns out I'm the only person that recruited last month. I recruited to 4,002 nations, and that's our total recruitment for the month.

Suffice to say that there is no winner for February's contest. A disappointing result. =/

Actually, I used the wrong month...the results are even worse. I recruited to 1069 nations, and xXTheHydraXx recruited to 9 nations. So technically @xXTheHydraXx won for the month, but of course does not qualify for a prize.

I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I looked at all the options and the games that seemed most compelling to me were the RTS games and turn-based strategy games.

My final decision for which reward I want from the Game Bag is Civ V. (It's not listed yet, but Gatto donated it to the game bag recently)
