A LONG TIME AGO, IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY.
It is a time of peace and prosperity in the Galactic Republic. The Jedi Order is firm in their belief that democracy has been secured, even amid all the conflicts that occasionally arise.
On a small garden world named Nika, events are unfolding that deeply disturb the handful of Jedi sent to investigate when contact is lost with the only large settlement known as Hatfield, and the distress beacon is activated. It is well known that the settlement lies on a recently-awakened volcano, and that the power estimated to be released when the volcano goes off will be more than enough to destroy the massive city. If this is what happened, however, why didn't the seismic detectors alert the settlers to the danger, and how could someone have activated the distress beacon?
Meanwhile, the long-dormant Brotherhood of Darkness await the arrival of the hated Jedi, and prepare to strike a blow that will change the course of galactic history.

I'll decide how many power roles there will be when I've got a complete idea of how many people will be participating.

BraveSirRobin is correct. I wanted Sith, but I couldn't have only two if a lot of people ended up playing.

Glad you could make it! You won't have to apply for diplomatic status unless you're the official diplomat for our region, which I believe is Wuufu here. I can get @Wintermoot to grant you tourist status, which just states you're visiting from another region.

What are the timeliness standards on this one? I think I've got classes on the day that it starts, so while I'd like to sign up, I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to play at this juncture

Each day round is 2 days long, and each night round is 1 day long. If you don't vote twice in a row during the day round, you are killed for inactivity.

What tau said is usually true, although the two-inactive-phases-in-a-row rule isn't a rule of Werewolf itself, but more a rule our hosts usually favour.

I was going to put "generally in this region" to be more accurate, but I decided to keep things simple.

I definitely encourage any newcomers to take part in this game. Werewolf is loads of fun, and definitely worth a try. Sure, it can get intense since it's a game of accusations...but in the end everyone here is friends, and it's just a game. :D

You do realize that even if we're participating, we're still going to be helping keep the peace ...right? All of us want the game to go smoothly, and we can still work as a team to keep the thread peaceful even if two of us are playing. :P
And you know I'm going to help out anyways, since it's kind of my job as the Jarl that oversees this area. ;)
