Greetings to all assembled!
No matter how large a community is, it almost always has a small group of dedicated people to thank for its prosperity. People who volunteer their time and energy on everything from leading the way on new projects and discussions, to doing the thankless but necessary work to keep the community maintained. People who get nothing out of it except the knowledge that they're helping to build something great, the thanks of the people who notice, and the appreciation of the leader of that community, which is what this announcement is all about.
Since joining our community nearly two years ago, @Gerrick has put in a hell of a lot of great work for us in the region...he's devised new games such as The Arena, he makes the Monarch's Game Bag and its contests work out, he's the second most active recruiter in the region (only behind me), and he's been an active and reliable member of the Riksråd as Jarl of Culture, where he has often put in as much time and effort to regional affairs as I have and has always contributed to our successes. Without a doubt, he is part of that small group that keeps this community going, and I have always appreciated everything he's done for Wintreath and for me.
Now I am honoured to elevate him to the echelons of Wintrean nobility, in recognition and appreciation of all he has done, by conferring upon him this title of nobility.
Thus, by proclamation of the Monarch on this 1,431st day since the founding of our region, Gerrick is hereby risen into the nobility of Wintreath as the Count of Janth, in recognition of his accomplishments for the betterment of the Frozen Realm of Wintreath, its community, and the people within it. Additionally, the House of Burdock shall be known henceforth as the Noble House of Burdock, whose members shall have all the rights and responsibilities afforded to a proper Noble House of this region.
Congratulations on this honour, Gerrick. You have certainly earned it. :)
