Step right in, welcome to the show! We’re really excited to have you, I consider it a bit of a coup that we managed to snag you for this performance! Oh, if only you knew what we have planned.....
But I am getting ahead of myself here a bit. Go on, take a seat while I get some of the legal business out of the way, you know how it is. Let’s see…liability waiver, you don’t need to worry about that…life insurance, that’s just a minor thing, no need to get into that…ah, here we are!
First, this year we have a civility clause. I know, I know, its a game of deception, betrayal and murder, but its a friendly game of deception, betrayal and murder. If you want to blame anyone for this clause, blame Will Smith. Anyway, here is the clause.
1. Civility Clause
I will remain civil during the show’s proceedings. A little aggression will be tolerated, but keep it controlled. We are aiming for an enjoyable environment for all nominees. Breach of this clause may result in warnings and/or summary removal from the game by the host.
A little blunt, I know, but you know how lawyers are with their legalese. Anyway, this next one is pretty fun, the Secrecy Clause! Sound’s spooky!
2. Secrecy Clause
During the proceedings, you may claim an alignment, role and character. You need not be honest, if you wish to do so. You may also claim to know another nominee’s alignment, role and character, even if you do not know their alignment, role or character. You may not reveal any part of any private communication with the host or your role PM other than your alignment, role and character only. This includes clarifications, flavour text, powers and win conditions. Breach of this clause may result in your powers being stripped by the host.
I like a little secrecy, spices things up, don’t you think? Which brings me to the final clause, the Confidentiality Clause!
3. Confidentiality Clause
You may not communicate with other players, directly or indirectly, about the events of the game on any platform, other than in host initiated groups for certain roles. Breach of this clause will result in your immediate removal from the game, as well as any participants of that communication, by the host.
And that’s it for now, just sign here…and here…and initials here…drop of blood there…ok, I’m kidding about that last bit. And you’re done, welcome to the show! Don't worry, when the show begins you'll be told the rest of the rules. Good luck and have fun..…
Signups will last for 12 days and will end at 21st May on 2200hrs (10 P.M) UTC+8. If we do not have a minimum of 10 nominees by that time, signups will extend until we do so.
I hope y’all have fun with the game! I'm really proud of what Mars and I have put together. Its a little vanilla and a little evil at the same time, and I hope you all enjoy the show :]

Evil games are my one true WW weakness, so here I am.
-
Michi walks in wearing a breathtakingly gorgeous outfit that has a remarkable shimmer to it as they gently flip their beautifully styled blue and purple hair, which flows elegantly with each step.
"Yes I'm here for the event." Michi replies as they pull their invitation out of their purse and flash it for a moment as they walk past and into the building, ignoring any potential reactions uncaringly as they make their way inside.
-
Super excited to
help torment all of you see our stars on the red carpet!
-
The door to the building opens softly but the room is suffocated by a feeling of innocence and self importance.
"Hello, yes, is this where the event is?" a young girl asks smiling lightly. A guard nods.
"Aww hell yeah!" She smiles and pulls out her invitation practically bouncing up and down on place while showing it to the guard. He sighs and waves her in.
"Yay!"

This sounds awesome! :) Not sure if I'll be able to sign up with how busy I've been lately, but I suppose I have some time to see if I can become unbusy. :P
@Arenado, I've given you Werewolf host permissions, so you should be able to use the new Werewolf system. You can start a Werewolf game by making a topic in this forum and then clicking "More" (beside the Reply button) and then "Add Werewolf". If you'd like to test the system and the host tools out before the game starts, feel free to do so. :)

Walking into the manor, Henrik Svaenningsson is wearing his best attire: a black-and-white suit outline with Svipish furs. He takes his invitation out from his coat pocket and hands it to the doorkeeper,
“Yes, I am here for the event, however,” he leans in, “I am honestly not sure how to go about myself here… how do I participate and not act like a fool? This is my first time at one of these events?” (I.e. how do I play?)
-
@Svipjoth Werewolf is a game of deception- you’ll receive a role PM with details surrounding your particular role. I’m gonna link you the beginner’s guide (https://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=3759) because it could explain it better than I ever could.
I should warn you that while there’s a lot of vanilla to this game, Aren and I (Aren especially lol) can’t resist the impulse to be a little evil, so keep that in mind when reading the guide if you choose to. And if you have any questions, it’s always okay to DM a host (just keep things confidential;) )

Sorry for my prolonged absence from here and from the Minecraft server (haven't even been on my home forums in over a month). Had Covid and the stomach flu a few weeks back and spent some time in the hospital. Then last week I was hit in the head and had a concussion so I've not even been on my computer for a week now. Suffice it to say, I'm ready to get back to a more active role both here and at home, so sure, count me in.
-
Sorry to hear that I'm so glad you're doing better now
-
Sign me up!
-
I'm going to extend sign ups by a week so we can try and reach the minimum player count of 10 nominees. The new deadline will be:
28th May on 2200hrs (10 P.M) UTC+8.
-
So the extended deadline is coming up in 24 hours and we're still under 10 players. We can extend the deadline further, or we can start the game with 7 players, though it will have to be rebalanced. How would you all like us to proceed?
@Melehan
@Michi
@Neon Abigail
@Svipjoth
@Dolby
@Aersoldorf
@Gerrick
-
I've always felt that the more, the merrier, but I'll leave it to the group/host to decide.
-
I'm cool with waiting for more if everyone else is.
-
No opinion lol
-
I'll join. I know a lot has changed since the Attack on Titan game in terms of website mechanics for Werewolf, is there a list of things somewhere?
-
I'm in another game but honestly I'd like to start. Either way though I'm fine
-
After consultation, the deadline for the game will be extended one final time. After that, regardless of player count, the game will begin. The new deadline will be:
4th June on 2200hrs (10 P.M) UTC+8.
-

Honestly, most of the changes are behind the scenes stuff for hosts, so you shouldn't have to worry about it much. The only thing you need to know is that in order for your votes to count, you'll need to either use the [vote] command or use the dropdown window to select who you're voting for (the check mark button next to the spoiler button). Also you'll now be able to see a list of everyone who's playing, the vote count and who's votes for who, and the number of posts each person has made, which can all be useful info or just ignored completely. If you want to see all the changes for yourself though, check out the werewolf discussion board (Wolvesbane Tavern) and the couple threads talking about new werewolf tools and updates (sorry, on mobile, so it's hard to link stuff).

Is this [vote] command related to the vote option appearing next to the spoiler option when posting and replying?
-
A dark figure shambles out of the crowd. As he staggers towards the doorman his tattered, dirty appearance takes greater focus. What appeared to be dirt is soot. The tears in his clothes are actually singes and burns. But the mangey hair and wild eyes remain the same. His approach causes unease amongst event staff and security. Even more so as he reaches inside of his cloak. With a quick jerk he produces a crumpled and torn invitation. It can't be his, but he doesn't even wait for an objection as he drops the invitation at the doorman's feet and continues through the door.
The Stranger has returned.

Yep, you can either use the vote command or you can use the vote button there, both accomplish the same thing. I usually just use the vote button since it lists all of the players and so I don't have to worry about spelling mistakes making the vote not go through.
