Widened borders?
The margins are significantly smaller on my screen:
I'm guessing that the change is less obvious on larger screens, but for me it's incredibly clear.
On the other hand, on mobile it looks basically the same as before, just with the boxes moved to hug the left side of the screen.
Actually, I'd like to retract this claim. I tried loading up some pages, and in my opinion at least the forum looks a lot worse on mobile now:
I was going to suggest expanding the text portion of the screen, but that's simply impossible without making the avatar side disappear. Though if you made expanded it to the right, to fill the empty space, perhaps? Or by reverting back to how the layout was before, which, IMO, really wasn't that bad.
I might be a poor source and in the minority, considering that one of my favorite ways to browse Reddit on mobile is the desktop site, but I see no problem with having to deal the a desktop site on mobile. Zooming in is incredibly easy on mobile for a reason, and as long as not much breaks from that zoom (which from my experience didn't), I don't see a problem with that.
Like seriously, these changes are actually making me consider reinstalling Tapatalk, and the thought of that makes me shudder.
Edit: Rereading and I was probably too harsh with my criticisms, and my conclusions were probably wrong. So fixing some above things here.
Edit 2: Or were these changes to mobile part of the previous update, and I didn't notice it until now?
