I see... not really harassment, but still an otherwise uncomfortable situation, and there happens to be a way to avoid that. Okay, makes even more sense now.

I have bad real-life experience with public voting, living in South Africa. The ANC and many of its supporters are prone to violence to intimidate people to vote for them, and the EFF is even worse. So yeah, in theory private voting shouldn't be a thing in a democracy, but in reality, democracy often equals mob rule, and people are goddamned savages, so I believe private voting is the wisest course of action.

I see that you have removed the month/year from the ballot title to avoid copy/paste errors from happening again.

Today is the final day to vote.

I was wondering about that... the wording seemed vague to me, I didn't know if the vote went through the 7th, or ended as soon as it became the 7th. As in whether the voting period was 7 days or 6 days total.

Made me think about that Elections Clarifications Act that I can't reply to to point out oddities (including minor ones like why are they saying "seven (7) days" but not "five (5) days" above that), which might make it so that, with an election period of 6 days, and a possible extension on nominations of up to 7 days, we could have an election where the nomination period continues for a full day past the end of the election. I don't expect that to happen since it would have to be intentionally done, but I would be willing to run on the 7th, in a situation where the election had ended already the day before and the nomination process extended to the maximum amount, just to see what would happen.

Wait, actually they do run through tomorrow...sorry. But still, nothing wrong with someone voting today if they haven't.
