Seems like a hard thing to automate... though I've never asked how much of this forum software is custom code or even API-assisted so I'm unsure how hard it should be. So I'd guess you added badges to my profile manually? That was the reason I wasn't going to ask for a badge update. The idea is neat, it reminds me of how I go for achievements on Steam to prove to myself and whoever is watching that I can do it, but I wouldn't find it especially fun to add these manually on a forum for everyone, so it would have felt wrong to ask someone else to do it knowing that.
Still, thank you for doing it anyway. Though more for knowing that you remembered me even though I had not posted in this topic at all and I've otherwise not made much of an imprint on Wintreath compared to you and many of the others here and have not been here long enough to expect anyone to consider me a regular yet.

I asked Gerrick in the announcement thread, and he said that he'd be adding badges to all active members regardless of if they'd request them, so we listed ours to help him.

Yep, everything is currently manual, but automation would definitely be helpful, especially in the future when I might not notice that someone has surpassed the requirements to earn certain badges. Some are more obvious than others, like winning Wintreath's Finest or a forum game. But that's what this thread is for -- just let me know if you've done something to earn a badge if I haven't awarded it to you yet. And don't worry, I would much prefer people ask me to do this -- especially since I helped create the badge system -- than for it to just be forgotten and not used.

As tau said, I tried to award badges to everyone who's posted within the past couple months. But don't doubt your impact here -- you're quickly becoming one of the most active people around.

Haha, soory, I accidentally gave a few people a badge or two when I shouldn't have, and there's currently no way to un-award them. So just see it as incentive to earn it.

I have a suggestion for the badge system: I would think there should be badges for being elected as an Underhusen Skrifa, being the speaker of the Underhusen, and ones for being elected as an Underhusen Skrifa 2 times, 5 times, 10 times, etc. I think these would increase motivation to run for Underhusen, but that's just my opinion.

There currently already is one for being elected to the UH once. And having multiple levels definitely crossed my mind, but I thought that it might just encourage people to run just for the sake of winning. I think we have more of an institutional problem than just not enough people running for UH. But I suppose I could create one for becoming Speaker.
