    So, are we just going to say it's not worth it and never update the server again... or should we try it? Last time, Wintermoot fixed it when things went wrong; I'm sure he could do it again.

    Well I was just hoping to wait a bit, but I have to admit, that concrete looks SUPER nice...

    We'd probably be fine if the plugins were updated in addition to the server, but I'm not completely sure on that front (mostly because I've never really run any server with plugins in my life :P ). 

    So long as we're well backed up in advance, I guess it'd be fine to try and update :)

    I really like 1.12 because of concrete and advancements; there's a LOT of advancements, which gives you something to do. And if you want full completeness, you can try to fill the recipe book. I know you can't "complete" Minecraft, but in a sense, you can.

    @Wintermoot would it be possible to get the server well backed up and update?

    I'm against this because I use a number of mods to make my game run and so I don't get lost all the freakin time and most of those aren't functional right now in 1.12.
