No. I do know a friend who applied there once, though.

What's the best thing about your first year of being an adult so far?

The thing I was most excited to do was vote. (I'm a nerd. ) Other than that, I guess just having the freedom of knowing I can go most anywhere and do most anything. It still freaks me out a little when I walk into a gas station and know I can buy the lottery tickets and cigarettes there. (Among other things. I've yet to do so and don't really plan on it.)

Mostly it's just nice to not seem like too much of a second-class citizen for once.

It's sad, though, that even in the States, some retail establishments don't consider you an adult until you're 21 (alcohol, "adult chaperones" being required to be 21, etc.) and that insurance and the government don't until you're 25.

I can't really say moving out because I technically moved away for college a month and a half before I turned 18. Though it is nice. I didn't realize how crazy my family was until after I started visiting back home.

What made you pick the name "Barnes?"

Barnes is the name of the leader of my Nationstates nation, and he was named after an artist who was from my hometown (but later moved to New Mexico for most of his life).

What do you find beauty in?

You mentioned you still can't buy alcohol...are you looking to get some?

What do you find beauty in?

I find beauty in what's organized, so those things on the internet that "give the inner OCD in you joy" appeals to me. I also like elegant solutions to puzzles or math problems, not that I'm able to figure out those elegant solutions myself. Also, memes.

You mentioned you still can't buy alcohol...are you looking to get some?

No, sadly. I'm sure I need a drink, but I figure I shouldn't start now. Given my personality, I'm sure I'd grow dependent. 

If you think you need a drink, you probably really don't need a drink.

In the last few weeks I've definitely needed that drink though just kidding.
