Out of the first batch, I really like the dormitory one. All the elements in the photo make it look like something a landscape painter would use as a reference. I like the dock as well, but the dormitory is less cluttered and looks peaceful (or haunted. There's more a sense of wonder, I think).

The second batch look like stock photos! =D They're pretty amazing, but I still prefer the dormitory. The composition was sweet in that one (even the bird). I'd say the speedboat is my favourite out of the second batch. Good grief, those are pretty.

Thanks! That bird was an accident actually. It looks nice now that I look at it, but when I was taking it I didn't really pay much attention, since I was staying there at the time.

And yeah, combined together like this, the second set kinda resembles a tourism commercial, now that I think about it.

Just an iPhone (oh god I sound like an Apple ad now). With heavy post-editing, of course (crop, color/light-correction).
