Wish I had known you could have like four powers before I made my character

He based his character off the Flash. He had like eight powers before I got him to tone it down.

This is what happens when I'm too lazy to be original.

I don't care about originality. I care deeply about power limitation.

Duke is a man of strong convictions and believes in discipline and balance. He enlisted in the US Army at age 18 right out of high school and served 3 tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. His time overseas caused him to change from an eager, outgoing teenager to a more serious and short-tempered man. He was honorably discharged from the Army after returning from his third tour some years ago when he began to show signs of PTSD. The death of his friends and trauma he experienced made him realize that there is no objective "good" and that the only things worth fighting for are order, peace, and the man standing next to you. Duke despises those who take advantage of others (be they for noble or evil aims) and has a soft spot for other veterans.

Telekinesis. Duke is able to move objects and people (including himself) with his mind if he focuses enough on them. He can push, pull, or lift objects totaling up to several hundred pounds with ease, but if he needed to and really focused, he could lift a single object weighing 10,000 lbs. He can create a makeshift shield by lifting a large object or several small objects, use them as melee weapons, and throw them as projectiles (whether targeted or just away from his body in all directions). He can levitate himself off the ground to "fly" but only 100 feet or so high and only as fast as about sprinting speed.

Those who have spoken with The Player, and are not psychic or possessing a super-enhanced brain invariably forget the encounter within three days, but several traits of The Player are known from the reports of those who spoke with him and were interviewed or recorded their own encounters before forgetting everything. This is what we know:

-The Player is a clinical sociopath: virtually all of his words and actions repeatedly show a complete disregard for human life and suffering, and he also shows many antisocial tendencies.
-The Player views most aspects of popular culture with a mixture of bemusement and disgust, and openly disavows both if prompted to converse.
-The Player is uninterested in drugs, alcohol, or bodily excess of any kind, and he identifies his orientation as asexual.
-The Player shows an appreciation for "quiet art" and aesthetic beauty, as well as a deep love of nature, and most non-human animals in the wild (with the notable exception of tamed animals or those under psychic control). He is more likely to "like" humans who share similar tastes.

Core: metal sphere with a single, red "eye". It has several tendrils coming out of it, which function like nerves and interaction devices. Grey in colour.

Common form: using parts and metal that Porshen found in the laboratory it escaped from, Porshen made a body that at first glance resembles a human. It moves and functions like a human, except the face is completely faux and is in fact a static mask. Initially, the eyes are lens from CCTV cameras.

Abilities

Using the tendrils coming out of its core, Porshen is able to manipulate some forms of matter to assimilate into itself, as well as break down objects into components and reconstructing them into something else. If he knows how something works, it can fabricate it (with time). The more complex or large the object, the longer it takes. For example, a small DC motor would take about half a minute to construct, but a stepper motor would take 10 minutes.

While the core acts like an incredibly powerful computer, it is not able to control a large amount of components at once. To extend his power, Porshen must assimilate processors of computers. Common tier equipment does not do much more than allow smoother movement and more control, and high tier equipment can allow it to work on a larger amount of parts, increasing assimilation and production speed.

Using these abilities, Porshen can install equipment on himself, such as guns, wings, extra arms, et c.. It is not able to split into several devices due to there being only one core, which it cannot replicate.

It now wanders the city, building itself up from thrown out tech, and hoping to avoid capture by its creators, who do not know the full extents of its power.

Initially, Porshen will avoid social interactions, and only talk with others if it is required to meet his goal, or if it is impossible to avoid.

Alignment

Chaotic Neutral. Porshen is goal oriented, so it does not care about the greater good. He only follows laws when it is beneficial to him, e.g. remaining undetected.

Yes, CinCiri is correct, I mean construction. and transfer, but not creation/destruction. As in, he is able to make a copper spoon into a wire, but not turn carbon into aluminium. Also, precision is on the nano scale (would take a very long time to construct though) but not on molecular scale.

As long as he isn't doing FMA-style transmutation or the illegal energy/matter absorption, I could care less.
