You get half a vote, there's one political party, your choice must be confirmed by the partisan election authority, and you need a corporate sponsor patch on your jacket to get into the polling place.

Luckily, that's not what'll happen here :p

I think the issue is just how long it's gonna take to actually vote in someone to fill the vacant seat, but changing the electoral system to avoid that might come across as dodgy. I'm not sure.

Hell, I might do what Laurentus mentioned and pull out to make things easier.

I'll be hopefully finishing up my campaign stuff tonight.  Been busy this past weekend.

The election should technically begin today. I believe from when I talked to @Wintermoot he said the balloting period should last three days instead of the usual seven. The only reason I'm so worried about the speed and process of the election seat is because of the bill we are trying to pass that would be greatly assisted by another Skrifa coming in. As it stands right now, the new Skrifa can vote on the new bill that we've extended a week, but if the election goes to run-off, which, given the number of candidates, probably will, an extra three or four days will cause them to miss the vote, because we can't extend it any further.
