I think the issue here is his citizenship in the Pacific.

Krulltopic did step down after the events in Lazarus, and Pierconium became Emperor, although Krulltopia still sits on the NPO Senate. Pierconium issued this statement apologizing for the events in Lazarus and some other things, and has been attempting to reestablish relations with the GCRs that cut relations over those events. Some don't believe that these efforts are sincere, but that is something I can't personally speak to.

I was super against this act when it first went through so I'm super for repealing it...

I remember raising valid concerns about it as a smokescreen so that it couldn't pass and interfere with my actual reason for being against it: that it would make espionage on the NPO/NLO impossible, which really went against my whole plan of getting a double agent in there to destroy the organisation from the inside.

Which ironically is exactly what ended up happening.

But yeah, it's outlived its usefulness.

How do we go about taking it down?

I'm am opposed to taking it down. For as long as Krull is in the NPO I do not believe they can be trusted. The NPO has tried several things like this before and we should not let them simply get away with it.

The crisis is over. This guy can't gain citizenship now, despite openly admitting having citizenship in the Pacific.

What real purpose does this serve outside of moral support to a region that is no longer under occupation?

Personally I feel that the Act was useful at the time...nobody can say that we didn't do our utmost to defend the integrity and sovereignty of our treaty allies. However, the invasion was repelled, the treaty is no longer in effect, and we have more stringent measures in place than the Humane Republic of Lazarus itself does, which is actually still in the process of attempting to prosecute Stujenske, Feux, Pergamon, Milograd, and A Mean Old Man.

I'm not sure what purpose the measure has now, and to be honest I've considered proposing a repeal for the last few weeks.

I'd be in favour of the repeal, as NPO hasn't done much recently that's completely horrible (to my knowledge).  Plus, the person seems to have citizenship in lots of regions, and it doesn't look like NPO his primary citizenship, anyway.  All we're doing with this is not accepting somebody, and accepting people is what we're all about here, right? 

That's what I thought too, until the law came into effect.

I remember thinking at the time: "Man, for a region so tired of gameplay crises, these people really get passionate about gameplay crises."

I am still against this.

I don't think we were passionate about gameplay crises...we were passionate about supporting our allies, as well we should be.

Yeah, we'll probably never agree on that whole affair.
