lol, the funny thing about my last post is that it turns out Zerg is easier to play against Protoss than the other way around, at least to me.
I finished the Zerg campaign, and I've gained a new appreciation for the flexibility of the Zerg...at least against the AI, Zerglings are great at all stages of the game, especially with their upgrades, mutalisks are cheap enough to be massed to rule the skies, and Hydralisks are great against Protoss air units, particularly the Carrier, which is the only unit that gave me a hint of trouble. The only real problem I had in some of the missions was getting enough Vespene gas to do what I wanted to do.
Now I'm playing the Protoss campaign, the last of the game, and it feels a lot tougher playing against the Zerg. Zealots are decent but can be overwhelmed with Zerglings, and Dragoons have air attack but feel deceptively weak...because the campaign only allows you to go a bit higher up the tech tree than the last mission, I don't feel like I have a good answer to Sunken and Spore colonies except to rush Zealots in and hope they can take care of them before they get wiped out. Hopefully a unit will present itself as I go through the campaign or this is going to get very tough...
