  • I thought maybe, but you know what happens when you assume. In any case, now we know not to disregard the person who previously ran a campaign on being a con man. :P

    Back to improving the game, I think you did everything great as host, but the game did start to lag after awhile. Maybe we should consider a time limit both for turns and the game. If the game time limit is reached, then the spy would automatically win (they successfully escaped and couldn't be found afterwards, or some such).

    And I think a game limit is a good idea... Because the people can just go on forever... And no one wants that.

    I can agree with this.  I don't think when the game was created (by Aternox :P) that it was considered how long the game could go on until, to the point of everyone starting to run low on questions.

    I wouldn't say give the spy the automatic win though.  I'd say if the game reaches a certain point, the Spy should have to guess the location if they've been given more than enough hints.

  • When we play on the XKI forums you can tag the player that you are asking a question to. When someone is tagged, they get a notification on the forum so it usually takes far less than 24 hours between a question being asked and it being answered.

    Seeing we can't do that here, maybe the host or the question asker should pm the person being asked a questions to keep things moving quickly. I think that if the game moves quicker the spy is either going to get caught or figure things out sooner and it wouldn't feel like it is dragging on so much.

    EDIT: I also think it might be because so many people are new. Maybe the non-spies played things a bit too vague which meant we could distinguish between people not wanting to give clues away and the person who didn't actually know where we where.

    Also, I don't mind hosting the next one if no one else has called dibs on it :)
