Title: Nominations for Speaker!

Greetings, new Underhusen! Now that the election is finally over, we need to go about the business of selecting a new Speaker. Over the next 48 hours, please post here if you are interested in standing for Speaker...afterwards we will have a 48 hour election to determine who it will be unless only one person stands. :)

Since on my review of previous UH practice, it's just not a done thing to vote for yourself, I'll vote for Chanku. Especially because abstaining seems saltier.
Why is it practice not to vote for yourself anyway? Strikes me as a bit weird.
