Getting rid of Java will be a huge benefit for the whole Minecraft community, if Microsoft is smart enough to leave a window for modding. If they are really smart, they'll go as far as to creating free and easy tools for modding.Yeah, my main concerns about the extending the C++ version over to the PC are modding and support for alternative OS's.
Let's just hope they get this right.

The only one i have seen belongs to a construvtio company i am pretty sureI haven't been on the server for almost a year now (holy shit I hadn't realized how long it was), but I think you're referring to Robin Corp (http://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=3151.0). In any case, I think the spawn hall should have a tree farm in its backyard. Go farther out and there should be some places to build your stuff. I'd suggest avoiding clear-cutting and to practice sustainable forestry, and also to make sure others haven't set up where you've chosen.

Anyone more computer-savvy able to explain? If it's just that I had to wait for verification, that's fine. :)You're probably on a newer version of Minecraft. According to the wiki (http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/1.11.1), 1.11.1 and 1.11.2 aren't backwards-compatible with 1.11 servers. Perhaps try connecting on version 1.11?

I went to one of them and there were multiple files and I don't really know which one to download. To install them I can probably look up though. And I've set java version to 1.12.2.Server is vanilla, there are only server-side plugins, no need to install any mods.
